I’ve felt different for as long as I can remember. I preferred solitude to social noise and assumed my discomfort in the world was a personal flaw. I didn’t recognize my autistic traits — I just believed I was strange in ways other people weren’t. Over time I developed a quiet empathy for anyone who has ever lived outside the expected lines, because I knew what it meant to stand there myself. This blog is a space to make sense of that experience — to reflect on life as an AuDHD adult, to share what I’ve learned, and to offer companionship to anyone who has ever felt out of step with the world. If you’ve spent your life wondering why things felt harder or more confusing than they seemed for everyone else, you are welcome here.
